Ingredients
- 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams) crab meat
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups (500 ml) marinara sauce
- 2 cup (480 ml) s (230 grams) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup (240 ml) (240 grams) ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) (50 grams) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2 grams) black pepper
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (1 gram) dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (1 gram) dried basil
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (30 grams) chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until onion is translucent.
- Add shrimp to the skillet; cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Stir in crab meat, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, oregano, and basil; cook for 2 more minutes.
- Remove skillet from heat and stir in chopped fresh parsley.
- Spread 1/2 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
- Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce in the dish.
- Layer half of the shrimp and crab mixture over the noodles.
- Spoon half of the ricotta cheese over the shrimp and crab mixture.
- Sprinkle 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese over the ricotta layer.
- Repeat layers: 3 noodles, remaining shrimp and crab, remaining ricotta, and another 1/3 of the mozzarella.
- Top with the last 3 noodles.
- Spread remaining marinara sauce over the top layer of noodles.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese and all of the Parmesan cheese over the sauce.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Allow lasagna to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
