Description

A delightful blend of fresh shrimp, chow mein noodles, and vibrant vegetables stir-fried in savory sauces, embodying comfort and joy.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces chow mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic, stirring quickly to avoid burning, then toss in shrimp. Cook until shrimp turns pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add bell pepper, snow peas, and carrot. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, mixing well.
  6. Add cooked noodles, tossing everything together until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions.

Notes

For added flavor, dry shrimp with a paper towel before cooking. Customize with your favorite vegetables and spices.
