Description

A flavorful shrimp boil that celebrates the essence of coastal cooking with succulent shrimp, tender potatoes, and sweet corn, seasoned with Old Bay.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large shrimp, deveined
  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • 4 ears of corn, cut into halves
  • 1/2 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Water


Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and add Old Bay seasoning. Bring it to a boil.
  2. Add the baby potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the corn and sausage, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Drain the pot and squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp boil.
  6. Serve on a large platter and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Adjust Old Bay seasoning to accommodate your taste. Experiment with additional ingredients like andouille sausage or garlic for extra flavor.
