Description

A vibrant shrimp boil filled with large shrimp, potatoes, corn, and smoked sausage, capturing the essence of coastal living.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound small potatoes, halved
  • 3 ears corn, cut into thirds
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Water


Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add salt and Old Bay seasoning.
  2. Add halved potatoes and cook for 10-15 minutes until slightly firm.
  3. Introduce sliced smoked sausage and corn pieces, cooking for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  4. Finally, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  5. Drain the pot and serve on a large platter with fresh lemon squeezed over the top.
