A vibrant shrimp boil filled with large shrimp, potatoes, corn, and smoked sausage, capturing the essence of coastal living.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound small potatoes, halved
- 3 ears corn, cut into thirds
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 4 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Water
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add salt and Old Bay seasoning.
- Add halved potatoes and cook for 10-15 minutes until slightly firm.
- Introduce sliced smoked sausage and corn pieces, cooking for an additional 5-7 minutes.
- Finally, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Drain the pot and serve on a large platter with fresh lemon squeezed over the top.
