Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz (227 g), 227 g)
- 1 cup (240 ml) cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined (about 8 oz (227 g), 227 g)
- 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup (240 ml) shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz (113 g), 113 g)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sliced green onions (about 25 g)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) diced tomatoes (about 40 g)
- 2 tablespoon s sour cream (30 ml)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chopped fresh cilantro (about 5 g)
- 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional )
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, crumbled turkey bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add the sliced green onions and diced tomatoes to the shrimp mixture. Mix well.
- Place a generous spoonful of the shrimp mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
- Carefully roll each triangle, starting from the wide end, and tuck the point under to secure.
- Arrange the stuffed croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly on a wire rack.
- Top each croissant with a dollop of sour cream.
- Sprinkle chopped fresh cilantro over the croissants.
- Add sliced jalapeño on top, if using.
