Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz (227 g), 227 g)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined (about 8 oz (227 g), 227 g)
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup (240 ml) shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz (113 g), 113 g)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) sliced green onions (about 25 g)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) diced tomatoes (about 40 g)
  • 2 tablespoon s sour cream (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chopped fresh cilantro (about 5 g)
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional )


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, crumbled turkey bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Add the sliced green onions and diced tomatoes to the shrimp mixture. Mix well.
  5. Place a generous spoonful of the shrimp mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
  6. Carefully roll each triangle, starting from the wide end, and tuck the point under to secure.
  7. Arrange the stuffed croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly on a wire rack.
  10. Top each croissant with a dollop of sour cream.
  11. Sprinkle chopped fresh cilantro over the croissants.
  12. Add sliced jalapeño on top, if using.
