Ingredients

- Cream cheese, softened – 4 ounce (113 g) s (115 grams)
- Eggs – 2 large
- Milk – 1 cup (240 ml) (240 milliliters)
- All-purpose flour – 2 cup (480 ml) s (240 grams)
- Baking powder – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 grams)
- Salt – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
- Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams)
- Green onions, chopped – 1/2 cup (120 ml) (50 grams)
- Vegetable oil or melted butter, for waffle iron – as needed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread shrimp on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake shrimp for 10-12 minutes until cooked through, then chop coarsely.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, turkey bacon, shrimp, and green onions.
- Mix well to combine all ingredients and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Gradually add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
- Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease with vegetable oil or melted butter.
- Pour a portion of the batter onto the waffle iron, spreading evenly.
- Place a spoonful of the shrimp mac and cheese mixture onto the batter.
