Description

A quick and delightful stir-fry recipe featuring shrimp, asparagus, and mushrooms, perfect for a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into pieces
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the asparagus and mushrooms, stir-frying for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Return the shrimp to the skillet, add soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), salt, and pepper.
  7. Toss everything together and cook for an additional minute.
  8. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
