Ingredients
- 1 pound (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounce s (225 g) lump crab meat
- 1 cup (240 ml) mayonnaise
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded moz zarella cheese
- 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sour cream
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) ranch dressing
- 2 tablespoon s (30 ml) lemon juice
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) paprika
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) salt
- 1 loaf French bread or similar, cut into thick slices
- 2 tablespoon s (30 ml) olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and let cool slightly.
- Chop the cooked shrimp into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, crab meat, mayonnaise, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, green onions, paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Mix the ingredients until well combined.
- Cut the bread slices into circles, about 3 inches in diameter, using a cutter or a glass.
- Press the bread circles into the cups of a muffin tin to form a bread cup shape.
- Brush the top edges of the bread cups lightly with the remaining olive oil.
- Fill each bread cup with the shrimp and crab mixture.
- In a small bowl, mix the ranch dressing and remaining sour cream until smooth.
- Drizzle the ranch swirl over the filled bread cups.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
