Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) cooked shrimp, chopped (about 140g)
- 1 cup (240 ml) lump crab meat (about 140g)
- 4 oz (113 g) cream cheese, softened (about 115g)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise (about 60 ml)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sour cream (about 60 ml)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice (about 15 ml)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce (about 5 ml)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Old Bay seasoning (about 2g)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) garlic powder (about 1g)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) onion powder (about 1g)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) paprika (about 1g)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 cup (480 ml) s shredded cheddar cheese (about 200g)
- 1 pound (454 g) store-bought pretzel dough (about 450g)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped shrimp and lump crab meat.
- Add the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream to the bowl.
- Mix in the lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.
- Sprinkle in the Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
- Roll out the pretzel dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut the dough into small, bite-sized pieces.
- Place a spoonful of the seafood mixture onto each piece of dough.
- Fold the dough over the filling, pinching edges to seal.
- Place the filled pretzel bites onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush each pretzel bite with the beaten egg for an egg wash.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
