  • Cream cheese: 8 ounce (227 g) s (225 grams), softened
  • Cheddar cheese: 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams), shredded
  • Jalapeños: 2, finely diced
  • Green onions: 2, chopped
  • Tomato: 1, diced
  • Lime: 1, juiced
  • Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
  • Onion powder: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams)
  • Black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams)
  • Cilantro: 1/4 cup (60 ml) (15 grams), chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bagels in half horizontally, making 8 halves.
  3. Arrange the bagel halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  4. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on each bagel half.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix the shrimp, crab meat, diced jalapeños, green onions, and diced tomato.
  7. Squeeze lime juice over the shrimp and crab mixture, and stir to combine.
  8. Distribute the shrimp and crab mixture evenly over the cream cheese on each bagel half.
  9. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of each bagel half.
  10. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
  11. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
