Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined (450 grams)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cooked crab meat (150 grams)
  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil (15 milliliters)
  • 2 cup (480 ml) s shredded moz zarella cheese (200 grams)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) sour cream (120 grams)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise (60 grams)
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s lemon juice (30 milliliters)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder (5 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder (5 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika (5 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) chili powder (2 grams)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped fresh cilantro (15 grams)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped green onions (15 grams)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  3. Bake baguette slices for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. In a bowl, combine shrimp with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook shrimp for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, and lemon juice.
  7. Add cooked crab meat to the sour cream mixture and stir to combine.
  8. Spread the crab mixture evenly over the toasted baguette slices.
  9. Top with a layer of cooked shrimp on each baguette slice.
  10. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over each crostini.
  11. Place crostini back in the oven and bake for 5-6 minutes until cheese is melted.
  12. Remove from oven and garnish with jalapeño slices, cilantro, and green onions.
