Ingredients
- 1 pound (454 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined (450 grams)
- 1 cup (240 ml) crab meat, cooked and flaked (150 grams)
- 8 ounce (227 g) s cream cheese, softened (225 grams)
- 1 cup (240 ml) shredded moz zarella cheese (100 grams)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) grated Parmesan cheese (25 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder (5 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder (5 grams)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) dried oregano (1 gram)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) dried basil (1 gram)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chopped fresh parsley (15 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt (2.5 grams)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper (0.5 grams)
- 2 cans refrigerated pizza dough (2 pounds (907 g) total or 900 grams)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil (15 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame seeds (9 grams)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and chop them into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, parsley, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
- Cut the dough into squares, approximately 4×4 inches each.
- Place a generous tablespoon of the seafood and cheese mixture onto each square.
- Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle and pinch the edges to seal well.
- Place the calzone rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush each roll with the beaten egg.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the calzone rolls.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
