Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined (450 grams)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) crab meat, cooked and flaked (150 grams)
  • 8 ounce (227 g) s cream cheese, softened (225 grams)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) shredded moz zarella cheese (100 grams)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) grated Parmesan cheese (25 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder (5 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder (5 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) dried oregano (1 gram)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) dried basil (1 gram)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chopped fresh parsley (15 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt (2.5 grams)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper (0.5 grams)
  • 2 cans refrigerated pizza dough (2 pounds (907 g) total or 900 grams)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil (15 milliliters)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame seeds (9 grams)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and chop them into small pieces.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Add garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, parsley, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
  7. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  8. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
  9. Cut the dough into squares, approximately 4×4 inches each.
  10. Place a generous tablespoon of the seafood and cheese mixture onto each square.
  11. Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle and pinch the edges to seal well.
  12. Place the calzone rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  13. Brush each roll with the beaten egg.
  14. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the calzone rolls.
  15. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
