Ingredients

  • Shrimp: 1/2 pound (227 g), peeled and deveined (225 grams)
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters)
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Heavy cream: 1 cup (240 ml) (240 milliliters)
  • Parmesan cheese: 1 cup (240 ml), grated (90 grams)
  • Moz zarella cheese: 1 cup (240 ml), shredded (115 grams)
  • Italian seasoning: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (2 grams)
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (3 grams)
  • Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) (1 gram)
  • Parsley: 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s, chopped (8 grams)
  • Butter: 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (28 grams)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Season shrimp with salt and black pepper, then remove from heat.
  6. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  7. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  8. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  9. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and thickened.
  10. Remove saucepan from heat and set aside.
  11. Roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle.
  12. Spread the garlic cream sauce evenly over the dough.
  13. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  14. Arrange cooked shrimp evenly over the cheese.
  15. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and parsley on top.
  16. Cut dough into 1-inch wide strips.
  17. Twist each strip gently and place on a baking sheet.
  18. Bake twists in the oven for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  19. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
