Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined (450 grams)
  • 8 ounce (227 g) s cream cheese, softened (225 grams)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) shredded moz zarella cheese (120 grams)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) grated Parmesan cheese (50 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) minced garlic (15 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Italian seasoning (5 grams)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) cooked turkey bacon, crumbled (60 grams)
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets, thawed (about 17 ounce (482 g) s or 480 grams)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped fresh parsley (15 grams)
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s unsalted butter, melted (30 grams)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Chop the cooked shrimp into small pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic.
  4. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the cheese mixture, and mix well.
  5. Stir in the chopped shrimp and crumbled turkey bacon until evenly distributed.
  6. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.
  7. Spread the shrimp and cheese mixture evenly over each puff pastry sheet.
  8. Roll each puff pastry sheet tightly into a log.
  9. Slice each log into 1-inch (2.5 cm) thick pinwheel pieces.
  10. Place the pinwheel slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  11. Brush each pinwheel with melted butter.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown.
  13. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  14. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
