A creamy and comforting shrimp Alfredo that combines buttery garlic shrimp with fettuccine pasta in a rich Parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and garlic, and sauté until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
- Lower the heat and add the heavy cream to the skillet, stirring continuously.
- Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce is creamy and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

For best results, use fresh shrimp and incorporate freshly grated Parmesan cheese for enhanced creaminess.
