Description

A creamy and comforting shrimp Alfredo that combines buttery garlic shrimp with fettuccine pasta in a rich Parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and garlic, and sauté until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Lower the heat and add the heavy cream to the skillet, stirring continuously.
  4. Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce is creamy and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For best results, use fresh shrimp and incorporate freshly grated Parmesan cheese for enhanced creaminess.
