Ingredients
- Shrimp, peeled and deveined – 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams)
- Froz en hash browns – 4 cup (960 ml) s (600 grams)
- Salt – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
- Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams)
- Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
- Onion powder – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
- Butter – 4 tablespoon (60 ml) s (56 grams)
- Heavy cream – 1 cup (240 ml) (240 milliliters)
- Parmesan cheese, grated – 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams)
- Moz zarella cheese, shredded – 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams)
- Fresh parsley, chopped – 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (8 grams)
- Eggs – 2 large (100 grams)
- All-purpose flour – 1/2 cup (120 ml) (60 grams)
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Thaw and drain the frozen hash browns.
- In a large bowl, combine hash browns, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and eggs.
- Mix until well combined.
- Shape the hash brown mixture into rings, about 3 inches in diameter.
- Coat each ring lightly with all-purpose flour.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry hash brown rings until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add shrimp to the melted butter and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same saucepan, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
- Add cooked shrimp to the Alfredo sauce and mix well.
- Place hash brown rings on a baking sheet.
- Fill each ring with the shrimp Alfredo mixture.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of each filled ring.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
