Description

A creamy and indulgent Shrimp Alfredo that brings warmth and comfort to your family dinners, featuring tender shrimp and perfectly cooked fettuccine.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions. Drain and keep warm.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and let it come to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing thoroughly to coat.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, use shrimp stock when boiling fettuccine. A squeeze of lemon juice before serving can balance the richness.
