Ingredients
- – 16 ounces (454 g) breaded shrimp
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vegetable oil
- – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) minced garlic
- – 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
- – 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce, low sodium
- – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) ketchup
- – 3 tablespoons (45 ml) brown sugar
- – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) rice vinegar
- – 2 teaspoons (10 ml) toasted sesame oil
- – 2 teaspoons (10 ml) corn starch
- – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame seeds
- – 2 tablespoons (30 ml) green onions, sliced

Instructions
- Warm up the oven and lightly mist a baking sheet with cooking spray. Arrange the breaded shrimp on the sheet. Cook the shrimp in the oven as per the instructions on the package.
- During the baking time, create the sauce.
- Combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch in a mixing bowl.
- Warm the vegetable oil in a small saucepan on medium heat. Introduce the garlic and sauté for half a minute. Pour in the honey mixture and allow it to simmer. Let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until it slightly thickens.
- Once the shrimp are done, take them out of the oven. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and stir to ensure they are well-coated. Scatter sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the top and serve.

- To thicken the sauce, mix cornstarch with water before adding it to the mixture.
