Description

A flavorful and elegant sesame ginger marinated tuna steak, grilled to perfection for a delightful summer meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 tuna steaks
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, honey, and sesame seeds to create a marinade.
  2. Place the tuna steaks in the marinade and let them sit for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the tuna steaks from the marinade and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Grill the tuna steaks for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until seared but still rare in the center.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Marinate for up to an hour for deeper flavor. Pair with steamed jasmine rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
