A flavorful and elegant sesame ginger marinated tuna steak, grilled to perfection for a delightful summer meal.
Ingredients
- 2 tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, honey, and sesame seeds to create a marinade.
- Place the tuna steaks in the marinade and let them sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the tuna steaks from the marinade and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the tuna steaks for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until seared but still rare in the center.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Marinate for up to an hour for deeper flavor. Pair with steamed jasmine rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
