Ingredients
- 1 lb clams, cleaned
- 1 lb mussels, cleaned
- 1 lb white fish (e.g., cod or halibut), cubed
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 4 cups seafood stock or broth
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Crusty garlic bread, for serving
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes and seafood stock, bringing to a simmer.
- Add red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Add the clams and mussels, cover the pot, and cook for about 5 minutes until they start to open.
- Add the white fish and shrimp, cooking for another 5-7 minutes until the seafood is cooked through.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and alongside crusty garlic bread.
