Description

A flavorful seafood shrimp boil featuring shrimp, corn, and sausage, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh shrimp, preferably wild-caught
  • 4 ears corn, cut into halves
  • 1 lb potatoes, cut into smaller pieces
  • 1 lb spicy sausage, cut into pieces
  • 4 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • Water


Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil.
  2. Add Old Bay seasoning, garlic, and bay leaves to the boiling water.
  3. Once boiling, add the potatoes and cook for 15-20 minutes.
  4. After the potatoes are nearly done, add the corn and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Finally, add the shrimp and cook for 3-5 minutes until pink and opaque.
  6. Use a slotted spoon to remove all ingredients, letting them rest for a minute.
  7. Serve family-style on a large surface covered with paper.

Notes

Serve with melted garlic butter and cocktail sauce for dipping. Enjoy with friends and family.
