Description
A flavorful seafood shrimp boil featuring shrimp, corn, and sausage, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs fresh shrimp, preferably wild-caught
- 4 ears corn, cut into halves
- 1 lb potatoes, cut into smaller pieces
- 1 lb spicy sausage, cut into pieces
- 4 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 lemon, halved
- Water
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil.
- Add Old Bay seasoning, garlic, and bay leaves to the boiling water.
- Once boiling, add the potatoes and cook for 15-20 minutes.
- After the potatoes are nearly done, add the corn and cook for 10 minutes.
- Finally, add the shrimp and cook for 3-5 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Use a slotted spoon to remove all ingredients, letting them rest for a minute.
- Serve family-style on a large surface covered with paper.
Notes
Serve with melted garlic butter and cocktail sauce for dipping. Enjoy with friends and family.
