A vibrant seafood pasta salad featuring sweet crab meat and succulent shrimp, perfect for summer gatherings or cozy family dinners.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (e.g., rotini or fusilli)
- 1 cup cooked crab meat
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let it cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, shrimp, bell pepper, celery, red onion, and cherry tomatoes.
- In another bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooled pasta to the seafood mixture and pour the dressing over it. Toss gently to combine.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
Consider adding chopped capers for brininess or a dash of hot sauce for heat. Store components separately to keep the salad fresh.
