Seafood lasagna roll-ups offer a delightful twist on traditional Italian flavors, delivering all the comfort of lasagna in a fun, easy-to-eat format filled with shrimp and crab.
Ingredients
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz crab meat
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions and drain well.
- In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, crab meat, ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well-combined.
- Take one lasagna noodle and spread a portion of the seafood filling along its length, spreading evenly.
- Roll the noodle up tightly, ensuring the filling stays inside, and place it seam-side down in the baking dish.
- Continue this process with each noodle until the dish is filled.
- Spread some marinara sauce at the bottom of the baking dish.
- Once all the roll-ups are in place, pour the remaining marinara sauce over the top.
- If desired, sprinkle more mozzarella cheese on top for added flavor and melty goodness.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the top is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
