Description

Seafood lasagna roll-ups offer a delightful twist on traditional Italian flavors, delivering all the comfort of lasagna in a fun, easy-to-eat format filled with shrimp and crab.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz crab meat
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions and drain well.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, crab meat, ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until well-combined.
  4. Take one lasagna noodle and spread a portion of the seafood filling along its length, spreading evenly.
  5. Roll the noodle up tightly, ensuring the filling stays inside, and place it seam-side down in the baking dish.
  6. Continue this process with each noodle until the dish is filled.
  7. Spread some marinara sauce at the bottom of the baking dish.
  8. Once all the roll-ups are in place, pour the remaining marinara sauce over the top.
  9. If desired, sprinkle more mozzarella cheese on top for added flavor and melty goodness.
  10. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the top is bubbly and golden.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
