Description

A vibrant and communal seafood dish featuring shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, deveined and peeled
  • 4 ears of corn, cut in halves
  • 2 lbs small potatoes, quartered
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons seafood seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Add salt and seafood seasoning to the boiling water.
  3. Add the quartered potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Introduce the corn and sliced sausage into the pot, cooking for another 5 minutes.
  5. Add the shrimp and cook until they are pink, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, drain the pot and serve the seafood boil on a large platter with lemon wedges.

Notes

To enhance flavor, consider using a homemade seafood seasoning mix. Serve the boil directly on butcher paper for easy cleanup.
