Description

A hearty and flavorful seafood boil featuring shrimp, crab legs, mussels, potatoes, and corn, seasoned to perfection for a delightful gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, deveined
  • 1 lb crab legs
  • 1 lb mussels, cleaned
  • 2 lbs small red potatoes
  • 2 ears of corn, halved
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • Water, for boiling
  • Sliced lemons, optional
  • Garlic cloves, optional

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, fill with water and add salt and Old Bay seasoning; bring to a rolling boil.
  2. Add the potatoes and corn, cooking until tender.
  3. Once the potatoes are tender, add mussels and cook until they open.
  4. Finally, add the shrimp and crab legs, cooking until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  5. Serve on a large platter or a newspaper-covered table with lemon wedges.

Notes

Monitor the cooking times carefully as overcooking seafood can result in a rubbery texture. Feel free to customize the boil by adding other vegetables or spices to adjust to your taste.
