Description
A vibrant and flavorful seafood boil featuring shrimp, crab legs, and sausage, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 liters water
- Old Bay seasoning, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- 2 pounds shrimp, cleaned and deveined
- 2 pounds crab legs, thawed
- 1 pound andouille sausage, sliced
- 4 medium potatoes, quartered
- 2 ears corn, halved
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Bring 4 liters of water to a rolling boil in a large pot.
- Add Old Bay seasoning and salt to the boiling water.
- Once boiling, add the quartered potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the sliced sausage and corn to the pot.
- After 15 minutes total, add the shrimp and crab legs.
- Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Drain the pot and transfer the seafood and vegetables to a large platter.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Be mindful not to overcook the shrimp to avoid a rubbery texture. You can adjust the seasoning and add other vegetables like bell peppers or onions if desired.
