Description

A vibrant and flavorful seafood boil featuring shrimp, crab legs, and sausage, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 liters water
  • Old Bay seasoning, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 pounds shrimp, cleaned and deveined
  • 2 pounds crab legs, thawed
  • 1 pound andouille sausage, sliced
  • 4 medium potatoes, quartered
  • 2 ears corn, halved
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 liters of water to a rolling boil in a large pot.
  2. Add Old Bay seasoning and salt to the boiling water.
  3. Once boiling, add the quartered potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced sausage and corn to the pot.
  5. After 15 minutes total, add the shrimp and crab legs.
  6. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  7. Drain the pot and transfer the seafood and vegetables to a large platter.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Be mindful not to overcook the shrimp to avoid a rubbery texture. You can adjust the seasoning and add other vegetables like bell peppers or onions if desired.
