Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh sea scallops
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and grease a baking dish.
- Rinse and pat dry scallops. Arrange them in the dish.
- Mix melted butter, olive oil, panko, Parmesan, parsley, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
- Spoon the mixture over the scallops evenly.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until scallops are opaque and the topping is golden brown.
- Broil for 2–3 minutes for an additional crisp finish.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
