Description

A delightful shrimp and broccoli dish, sautéed with garlic and ginger, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook until the shrimp turns pink, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  4. Incorporate the broccoli florets into the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 4–5 minutes until the broccoli becomes tender-crisp.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for one more minute.
  6. Serve the savory shrimp with broccoli hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Serve with a garnish of green onions and enjoy with a side of cucumber salad for a refreshing contrast.
