Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) fresh spinach
  • 1 1/2 tsp (7.5 ml) granulated garlic powder
  • 20 shrimp, thawed
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil, or as needed


Instructions

  1. Put the spinach in a big bowl; dust it with garlic powder and mix well.
  2. In another large bowl, place the shrimp; season them with black pepper and toss until evenly coated.
  3. Warm up the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp; stir and cook in the hot oil until they turn a bright pink color and the meat is no longer translucent, around 5 minutes.
  4. Add the spinach to the pan; stir and cook until it just starts to wilt, approximately 1 minute.
