Ingredients
- 1 cup Bisquick mix (120 g)
- 1/2 cup milk (120 ml)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup cooked chicken sausage, chopped (75 g)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (60 g)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a muffin tin or line with muffin liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cup Bisquick mix and 1/2 cup milk.
- Crack 2 eggs into the Bisquick mixture and whisk until smooth.
- Stir in 1/2 cup chopped cooked chicken sausage.
- Add 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese to the mixture and mix well.
- Season the batter with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
- Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the muffins are golden and set.
- Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool slightly in the tin.
- Transfer the muffins to a wire rack to cool completely or serve warm.
