Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bisquick mix (120 g)
  • 1/2 cup milk (120 ml)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken sausage, chopped (75 g)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (60 g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a muffin tin or line with muffin liners.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cup Bisquick mix and 1/2 cup milk.
  4. Crack 2 eggs into the Bisquick mixture and whisk until smooth.
  5. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped cooked chicken sausage.
  6. Add 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese to the mixture and mix well.
  7. Season the batter with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
  8. Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the muffins are golden and set.
