Description
Delicious salmon patties that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with a vibrant lemon garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillets, cooked and flaked
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the cooked and flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, green onions, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- For the sauce, mix together sour cream, lemon juice, minced garlic, and parsley in a small bowl.
- Serve the salmon patties warm, drizzled with the lemon garlic sauce.
Notes
For best results, refrigerate the mixture before forming patties. You can customize the recipe by using panko breadcrumbs or adding diced vegetables.
