Description

A delightful salmon dish with a rich, sweet brown sugar garlic glaze that brings joy to everyday meals.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the brown sugar, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, black pepper, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes in a small bowl to create the glaze.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet.
  4. Brush the brown sugar garlic glaze generously over each fillet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, marinate the salmon for 30 minutes before baking. Pair with steamed vegetables or a salad.
