Description

A delightful dish that combines the sweetness of brown sugar with the savory essence of garlic, creating a flavorful glaze for succulent salmon fillets.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Mix together brown sugar, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the brown sugar garlic glaze generously over each fillet.
  4. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is caramelized.
  5. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, monitor cooking time and adjust based on fillet thickness. Allow salmon to rest for a few minutes after baking.
