Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Mix together brown sugar, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the brown sugar garlic glaze generously over each fillet.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, monitor cooking time and adjust based on fillet thickness. Allow salmon to rest for a few minutes after baking.
