Description

Discover how to make delicious Rotel Sausage Crescents with this easy recipe. Perfect for breakfast or brunch, these savory crescents will be a hit!

Ingredients

  • 1 8 ounce (227 g) s cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1 pound (454 g) ground beef, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 8 ounce (227 g) s cans of refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 10 ounce (283 g) s can diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained very well

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, softened cream cheese, and well-drained diced tomatoes with green chilies. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is well-blended.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles. Slice each triangle in half lengthwise to form two smaller triangles.
  4. Using a small scoop, place the beef mixture onto each piece of dough. Roll the triangles up from the wider end to the narrow tip.
  5. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet and bake them for approximately 15 minutes, or until they achieve a golden brown color.

Notes

  • Drain the diced tomatoes and green chilies thoroughly to prevent a soggy filling.
  • Soften the cream cheese for easier mixing with the ground beef and tomatoes.
  • Use a small scoop to evenly distribute the beef mixture onto the crescent dough.
