Description

A simple yet elegant red snapper recipe baked to perfection with lemon, garlic, and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole red snapper, cleaned
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (such as parsley or thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the red snapper under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the fish in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Rub the minced garlic all over the fish, including inside the cavity.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, then stuff the cavity with lemon slices and herbs.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with additional herbs and lemon slices.

Notes

For additional flavors, consider stuffing the cavity with onion slices or other citrus fruits. Use fresh herbs generously for maximum flavor.
