Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp garlic (freshly minced)
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp lime zest
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined with tails left on)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp cilantro (finely chopped)
- 1 lemon (for serving)
- 2 limes (for serving)
Instructions
- Combine olive oil, honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, lemon zest, lime zest, and paprika in a bowl.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl and stir well to coat. Let the shrimp marinate for 20-30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Skewer the marinated shrimp onto skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp.
- Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small pan. Once the shrimp are grilled, pour the melted butter over them.
- Serve with freshly squeezed lemon and lime juice, garnished with cilantro.
