Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 avocados
- 1 lime (juiced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Rub the Cajun seasoning evenly over each fillet.
- Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky.
- In a bowl, mash the avocados and mix in the lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Serve the baked salmon topped with the avocado lime sauce and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
Notes
Let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes after baking to allow juices to settle. Experiment with varying the level of heat in the Cajun seasoning for a spicier kick.
