Description

A quick and vibrant baked Cajun salmon dish topped with a creamy avocado lime sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Rub the Cajun seasoning evenly over each fillet.
  4. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky.
  5. In a bowl, mash the avocados and mix in the lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  6. Serve the baked salmon topped with the avocado lime sauce and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.

Notes

Let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes after baking to allow juices to settle. Experiment with varying the level of heat in the Cajun seasoning for a spicier kick.
