Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough (450 g)
- 1 cup pumpkin puree (240 ml)
- 8 ounces beef, peeled and deveined (225 g)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (30 ml)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (115 g)
- 1/2 cup grated plant-based Parmesan cheese (50 g)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix pumpkin puree, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add remaining olive oil and minced garlic.
- Sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Spread sautéed garlic evenly over the pumpkin layer on the pizza.
- Arrange cooked shrimp evenly over the pizza crust.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the shrimp and pumpkin layer.
- Sprinkle dried oregano evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
