Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 4 cups fish stock
  • 1 pound white fish (like cod or haddock), cut into pieces
  • 8 shrimp, deveined
  • 1/2 pound mussels, cleaned
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and red bell pepper, sautéing until soft.
  3. Stir in the tomatoes, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in the fish stock, bringing it to a boil.
  5. Add the white fish, cooking until it starts to flake.
  6. Introduce the shrimp and mussels, cooking until the shrimp turns pink and the mussels have opened.
