A mouthwatering salmon dish glazed with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
- Cooked rice or vegetables for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the glaze.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- If baking, place salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and brush with the glaze.
- If using a skillet, add olive oil and sear the salmon skin-side down until crispy, then flip and brush glaze on top.
- Cook salmon until it flakes easily with a fork, about 12-15 minutes in the oven or 6-8 minutes in the skillet.
- Serve with lemon wedges and alongside rice or vegetables.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, marinate the salmon in the honey-soy glaze for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
