Description

A mouthwatering salmon dish glazed with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Cooked rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the glaze.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. If baking, place salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and brush with the glaze.
  4. If using a skillet, add olive oil and sear the salmon skin-side down until crispy, then flip and brush glaze on top.
  5. Cook salmon until it flakes easily with a fork, about 12-15 minutes in the oven or 6-8 minutes in the skillet.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges and alongside rice or vegetables.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, marinate the salmon in the honey-soy glaze for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
