Description

A creamy and flavorful crab salad that celebrates freshness and simplicity, perfect for gatherings or personal indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lump crab meat (or imitation)
  • 1 cup real mayonnaise
  • ½ cup diced celery
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Drain any liquid from your crab meat.
  2. Chop the meat into small, bite-sized pieces.
  3. Dice your celery and red onions very finely.
  4. Whisk together the mayonnaise and lemon juice in a separate bowl.
  5. Stir in the Old Bay seasoning until well combined.
  6. Fold the crab and diced vegetables into the creamy mixture carefully.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least one hour.

Notes

Chill serving bowl and consider adding fresh herbs like dill or chives for an extra flavor boost. If the salad is too dry, add more mayonnaise.
