Ingredients
- 2 lb (900 g) Salmon fillet
- 1 1/2 tbsp (22.5 ml) Olive oil
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) Sea salt
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) Black pepper
- 1/2 cup (120 g) Grated cheese
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) Fresh parsley (chopped)
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) Fresh dill (chopped)
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Unsalted butter (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the salmon fillet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil and lemon juice, then drizzle the mixture over the salmon.
- Season the fish evenly with sea salt and black pepper.
- In another bowl, mix together the grated cheese, chopped parsley, chopped dill, garlic powder, and melted butter.
- Spread the cheese mixture over the top of the salmon, pressing it down gently to adhere.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
- Once done, take the salmon out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
