Description

A simple yet flavorful dish featuring fish fillets with a crispy Parmesan crust.

Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the fish fillets on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil.
  5. Press the breadcrumb and cheese mixture firmly onto the top of each fish fillet.
  6. Bake in the oven for approximately 12 to 15 minutes until cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Serve hot with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

For an extra crunch, substitute half the breadcrumbs with crushed cornflakes or panko. Keep an eye on your fish to avoid overcooking.
