A simple yet flavorful dish featuring fish fillets with a crispy Parmesan crust.
Ingredients
- 4 fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Place the fish fillets on a lined baking sheet.
- Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil.
- Press the breadcrumb and cheese mixture firmly onto the top of each fish fillet.
- Bake in the oven for approximately 12 to 15 minutes until cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
- Serve hot with fresh lemon wedges.
Notes
For an extra crunch, substitute half the breadcrumbs with crushed cornflakes or panko. Keep an eye on your fish to avoid overcooking.
