Description

A simple yet elegant dish featuring pan-seared salmon topped with a creamy lemon garlic sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the salmon skin-side down in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until cooked through. Remove salmon from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest, stirring to combine and simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Return the salmon to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the fillets, and cook for another minute.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, do not move the salmon fillets too soon. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the salmon reaches 145°F.
