Description

A delightful pan-seared salmon dish paired with a creamy dill sauce, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. Flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  5. While the salmon is cooking, mix sour cream, dill, lemon juice, and minced garlic in a bowl to prepare the creamy dill sauce.
  6. Serve the pan-seared salmon topped with creamy dill sauce.

Notes

For best results, start with salmon fillets at room temperature to ensure even cooking. Monitor the heat and avoid moving the fish while it cooks.
