Description

A flavor-packed pan-seared mahi mahi recipe, drizzled with lemon garlic butter, showcasing simplicity and coastal dining vibes.

Ingredients

  • 2 fillets mahi mahi
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat the mahi mahi fillets dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Place the fillets in the skillet and cook undisturbed for 3 to 4 minutes until a golden crust forms.
  4. Carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove the fillets from the skillet and set aside on a warm plate.
  6. Reduce heat to medium, add butter and garlic to the skillet, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Stir in the lemon juice and spoon the sauce over the cooked fillets.
  8. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the fish and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the fillets in olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic before cooking.
