Delicious pan fried shrimp tacos topped with fresh mango salsa, perfect for a casual dinner or lively gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 taco shells
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 mango, diced
- 1/2 red onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, diced (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the shrimp with olive oil, lime juice, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
- In another bowl, mix diced mango, chopped red onion, cilantro, jalapeño (if using), salt, and pepper to make the salsa.
- Warm taco shells in the oven.
- Assemble the tacos by placing cooked shrimp in the shells and topping with mango salsa.
Notes
For best results, marinate shrimp for at least 30 minutes. Serve with lime wedges for added flavor.
