Ingredients
- 8 tbsp (120 ml) vegetable oil, divided
- 454 g peeled and deveined bay shrimp
- 15 ml lemon juice, divided
- 1 pinch garlic powder, or to taste
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 90 ml of vegetable oil in a large pan on high heat.
- Add the bay shrimp and sauté in the hot oil until they become golden, approximately 2 minutes. Lower the heat to medium-low.
- Mix in 7.5 ml of lemon juice, a pinch of garlic powder, salt, and black pepper; cook for another minute until everything is warmed through.
- Take off the heat; add the remaining 30 ml of vegetable oil and 7.5 ml of lemon juice, stirring well.
