Ingredients
- 12 Fresh oysters
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- Oil for frying
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
- Tartar sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Start by shucking the oysters and placing them on a plate.
- Set up your breading station with one plate for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for Panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each oyster first in flour, then dip into the egg, and finally coat with Panko.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the oysters for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges and tartar sauce if desired.
