Description

A delightful balance of sweet and tangy flavors makes this oven-baked salmon with honey Dijon sauce a perfect dish for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together honey, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic.
  3. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the honey Dijon mixture over the salmon fillets.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For even cooking, let salmon come to room temperature before baking. You can add a pinch of cayenne for heat and use a thermometer to ensure salmon is perfectly cooked at 145°F (63°C).
